Beggars Banquet

Beggars Banquet

July 01, 2021

While we can’t technically call this a “cocktail” per-say, the Beggars Banquet has still made it into our bourbon series. Not a cocktail, then what is it? A Beertail. Beer may seem like an odd addition to a drink, but when you really look at it, beer is perfect for cocktails. Full of flavor, tons of variety, and carbonated. The Beggars Banquet has some maple syrup in there which plays so nicely off of the bourbon notes. And all of the citrus paired with the lager has that summer beer feel. It’s easy to throw together and doesn’t even need to be shaken up. A gentle stir of all your ingredients and you're good to go. Plus, once you’ve opened a beer for this drink you’re really only left with two options.

  1. Drink the rest of the beer.
  2. Make another Beggars Banquet! ←This is our vote.
