Boozy Pineapple and Whiskey

Boozy Pineapple and Whiskey

May 14, 2020

This tasty cocktail packs a punch without being overtly boozy on the tongue. Super easy to make and if you have whiskey fans in your household it’s sure to be a hit. Rich in pineapple but full of depth from the liquor with the vermouth tying the two together.

  • 2 oz Rye Whiskey(We tried ours with bourbon as well, you can’t go wrong.)
  • .75 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 1 oz Pineapple Shrub
  • ½ inch by 2 inch slice of Lemon Zest(not required but extra tasty)
    • Stir with lots of ice and strain into small glass(coupe is ideal, but by no means “necessary”)
    • Cut a slice of lemon zest and spritz over the top of the drink.

Where’s the novel before the recipe explaining the point in my childhood where I was inspired to blog about cocktails, or how important my dog is to my life, you ask? Yeah, we’re not going to be doing that. We promised a recipe, not a story. Enjoy!
