Since we’ve all been suffering together through a drastic temperature shift(hot enough to melt coconut oil sitting out) we figured that it’s the perfect time to start drinking margaritas. A great way to cool off, pretend like you’re hydrating, and enjoy the little things.
We’re basically leaving everything as is in this one other than substituting agave syrup for Pineapple Lavender Shrub. Shaken or frozen, that’s your call, both are perfectly delicious or should I say dangerously drinkable.
Why stop with a slightly pumped up basic margarita that we’ve offered in our recipe below? Throw in an herb of choice to really zest things up(basil, mint, cilantro). Experiment with flavors of shrub(we recommend Blueberry Lemon and Raspberry Coriander). Hopefully this base recipe will be the jumping off point for you to explore some of your inner cocktail pazazz. A little something that is hiding within all of us, waiting for the right moment to make an appearance. Perhaps, right now?
