kvass (meaning "fermented beverage") is a traditional eastern european drink made with stale rye bread that was later adapted to use beets. our spin on beet kvass also contains ginger for a soothing warmth. savory, light, and refreshing, it can be consumed in 1-2 oz portions before meals, or chugged by the bottle.
